About the Role
The Senior Client Executive role in Cape Town City Centre is a key position that requires a seasoned professional to manage and grow key retail accounts within the Clearing and Forwarding space. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic account plans to drive revenue and profitability, while building and maintaining strong client relationships at a senior level.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key retail accounts within the Clearing and Forwarding space
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue and profitability
- Build and maintain strong client relationships at a senior level
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless service delivery
- Handle contract negotiations and ensure SLA adherence
Requirements
- Proven experience in Clearing & Forwarding / Freight Forwarding
- Strong background managing retail clients (non-negotiable)
- Solid understanding of Air, Sea, and Road freight
- Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities
