About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to join our boutique hotel in the Gardens, Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for managing the assigned departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility of hotel operations and report directly to the General Manager
- Maintain brand goodwill at property level and act as a key ambassador for the brand
- Ensure effective leadership through professional personnel management and encouragement of subordinates
- Establish and support community partnerships to present the property in a strong, positive image
- Provide exceptional guest service and respond promptly to all queries and complaints
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve procurement agreements and drive business growth
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to keep the property innovative and competitive
- Facilitate effective monthly departmental meetings and ensure accurate minutes are taken
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality (advantageous)
- Sound experience in Hospitality Management positions
- Valid Code 08 drivers license and own reliable transport essential
- Excellent attention to detail, hygiene principles, and communication skills (written and verbal)
