About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a Senior IT and Security Support Technician to ensure the smooth operation and security of their clients’ and their own IT infrastructure. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual who can provide advanced technical support, implement security best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level technical support for a wide range of IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Manage and maintain SQL, Linux, PostgreSQL, VMware, Hyper-V, and Microsoft environments.
- Provide support for Pastel & VIP, Microsoft SharePoint, and HCL Domino.
- Assist with Veeam implementations and servicing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior IT Support Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Linux, PostgreSQL, VMware, Hyper-V, and Microsoft environments.
- Experience with network infrastructure management and security.
- Familiarity with cloud solutions, including Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Experience with Veeam, Pastel & VIP, Microsoft SharePoint, and HCL Domino is highly desirable.
