About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Afrikaans admitted attorney with a strong background in litigation, commercial, corporate, and family law to join our team in Mbombela. The ideal candidate will have 23 years of post-admission experience and a proven track record of providing exceptional legal services to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and matter records
- Attend client meetings, hearings, and negotiations as required
- Assist senior attorneys with complex cases and matters
- Keep abreast of legal developments in relevant areas of law
Requirements
- LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognized South African university
- Admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
- Afrikaans Home Language
- Experience drafting court documents, contracts, and agreements
- Knowledge of South African corporate, commercial, and family law legislation
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
