About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Groups & Conferencing Sales Manager to lead revenue growth within our dynamic hospitality environment based in Sandton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactively sourcing, securing, and growing conferencing, events, and group accommodation business across key market segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new conferencing and group business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with corporates, PCOs, agencies, and government clients
- Convert enquiries into confirmed events and group bookings
- Conduct site inspections, presentations, and contract negotiations
- Maximise revenue through strategic packaging and upselling
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery
- Maintain accurate reporting, pipeline management, and forecasting
Requirements
4–6 years’ experience in Groups & Conferencing or hotel sales
Proven success in events and/or conferencing revenue generation
Strong knowledge of the Sandton market
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client engagement
