About the Role
We are seeking an experienced mechanic specialising in engine replacements to join our growing automotive workshop in Pretoria-North. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship and working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete engine replacements and swaps (petrol & diesel)
- Remove and install engines efficiently and safely
- Diagnose engine-related faults before and after replacement
- Ensure correct timing, torque specs, and assembly
- Perform post-installation testing and quality checks
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
Requirements
- Proven experience in engine replacements (non-negotiable)
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Own basic tools (advantage)
- Valid drivers licence (preferred)
- Reliable, honest, and detail-oriented
Qualifications
- Trade test or relevant certification (advantage)
