An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team based in Johannesburg, Cape Town, or Durban. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, valuations, and financial reporting across high-end luxury residential developments. Responsibilities: Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and project measurements Compile and maintain project cost estimates and budgets Evaluate subcontractor claims and payment applications Monitor site expenditure and update monthly financial forecasts Review and approve material and subcontractor orders Conduct progress valuations for development finance draws Work closely with Site Managers to ensure ongoing budget control Maintain accurate project cost reporting and documentation Requirements: Relevant BSc or BTech qualification in Quantity Surveying Minimum 35 years relevant experience Exposure to luxury residential or high-end residential developments advantageous Strong understanding of construction cost management Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to build strong working relationships across teams Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Preferred Competencies: High sense of urgency Ability to work under pressure Strong attention to detail Professional and dependable approach Benefits Include: Medical Cover Provident Fund Permanent role Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
