About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Consultant to join the team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional service delivery within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the existing customer base to ensure long-term client retention and business growth
  • Plan and manage monthly and daily sales activities, maintaining an organised and structured daily diary
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets in line with company objectives
  • Conduct price negotiations with clients in accordance with company pricing structures and policies
  • Re-sign existing customers and identify opportunities to upgrade services and solutions
  • Prospect for new business opportunities through client outreach, needs analysis, and site surveys
  • Follow up on customer queries and provide effective after-sales service to ensure client satisfaction
  • Monitor and follow up on installations to ensure successful service delivery
  • Complete installation documentation, withdrawals, and survey reports accurately and timeously
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and contribute to the smooth running of business operations
  • Prepare and submit commission sheets accurately and within required deadlines

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field (advantageous)
  • Proven experience in a sales or account management role, preferably within the sales environment and experience within the hygiene, pest control and deep clean industry
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ external sales experience with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Computer literacy (MS Office and CRM systems)
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
