About the Role

We are seeking a commercially strong Business Development Manager to drive B2B revenue growth across retail, hospitality, and corporate channels for our fast-growing coffee and FMCG business. As a sales-first, target-driven role focused on winning new business while nurturing existing accounts, this is an exciting opportunity for a proactive hunter/farmer who understands FMCG or beverage sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive consistent monthly revenue growth across wholesale channels
  • Own full sales lifecycle: prospect → pitch → negotiate → close → onboard
  • Track performance against budgets and targets
  • Maintain disciplined pricing and discount control to protect margins
  • Manage wholesale orders, invoicing, and basic sales administration
  • Open new wholesale accounts across retail, hospitality, and corporate sectors
  • Secure listings with retail partners and hospitality groups
  • Build long-term service and equipment rental agreements where applicable
  • Develop commercial proposals and sales decks aligned to customer segments
  • Conduct regular site visits and field sales activity
  • Build strong relationships with buyers, procurement managers, and decision-makers
  • Attend industry events and expos to grow brand presence
  • Identify and activate promotional opportunities in collaboration with marketing

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B sales, or business development (food, beverage, FMCG, or hospitality preferred)
  • Proven track record in new business acquisition and account management
  • Experience selling into hospitality, retail, or corporate environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with understanding of margins, pricing, and revenue targets

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (required)
