About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Groups & Incentives Travel Designer to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a luxury travel environment, we offer a unique opportunity to craft high-end group and incentive journeys across Southern and East Africa. Key Responsibilities
- Design, manage, and deliver complex group itineraries for high-value international clients
- Ensure seamless execution and unforgettable guest experiences
- Translate briefs into high-impact, creative travel programmes
- Identify upsell and value-add opportunities while protecting margins
- Deliver exceptional, solutions-driven service to trade partners and stakeholders
- Manage expectations across multiple touchpoints with confidence
- Operate complex group logistics (rooming lists, movements, activities, special requests)
- Maintain meticulous booking and documentation standards
- Contribute to sales insights and group performance trends
Requirements
- Proven East Africa destination selling experience
- Strong Tourplan systems knowledge
- 6–10 years’ experience in senior groups, incentives, or MICE travel design
- Proven track record managing complex, high-value group itineraries
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Confident in consultative selling and client engagement
- Strong communication skills (English essential; additional languages advantageous)
- Able to perform under pressure and manage multiple group files simultaneously
