About the Role

The Director of Revenue & Reservations will lead and oversee the company’s reservations, revenue management, and DMC booking operations across all lodges, camps, and safari experiences. This role carries significant responsibility for driving commercial performance, ensuring reservation efficiency, optimizing systems and processes, coordinating operational delivery, and managing the end-to-end guest booking journey from initial enquiry through to travel completion.

About the Role

We are seeking a commercially astute hospitality leader to join our luxury safari and travel operation in East Africa as Director of Revenue & Reservations. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and commercially driven individual to lead and integrate reservations, revenue management, yield optimisation, and destination management booking functions across a portfolio of premium safari lodges, camps, and experiential travel products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth strategies across multiple luxury camps, lodges and safari products.
  • Lead pricing optimisation, occupancy planning, inventory control and demand forecasting.
  • Monitor booking pace, seasonality and competitor positioning.
  • Maximise commercial performance across ADR, RevPAR, occupancy and profitability targets.
  • Manage allocation controls, availability strategies and booking optimisation.
  • Lead end-to-end reservations operations and guest booking management.
  • Ensure exceptional standards across enquiries, confirmations, amendments and guest communication.
  • Oversee logistics bookings including transfers, flights, accommodation movements and itinerary execution.
  • Champion modernisation across reservation platforms, PMS environments, CRM tools and reporting systems.

Requirements

  • Strong revenue and yield management expertise.
