About the Role
The Vineyard -, Oude Werf – & Stellenbosch Hotels invites you to join our Head Office Finance Team as a diligent and detail-driven Finance Clerk. Key Responsibilities
- Financial Processing & Administration: Processing daily receipts, payments, cashbook entries and journal allocations.
- Reconciling bank accounts and resolving variances promptly.
- Capturing and verifying supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Preparing and processing supplier payments via online banking.
- Conducting monthly reconciliations of supplier accounts and addressing outstanding queries.
- Reporting & Month-End Support: Assisting with compiling monthly management reports and supporting schedules.
- Providing administrative support across creditors, debtors, revenue reporting, petty cash and other areas as required.
Requirements
- Matric.
- At least 3 years’ experience working in a finance or accounting environment (creditors, cashbook and/or petty cash experience required).
- Solid working knowledge of Pastel Accounting, Micros and Excel.
- Strong numerical reasoning, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet strict deadlines.
- Effective communication skills.
