About the Role

The Head of New Leasing & Acquisitions will be responsible for driving growth and managing a property portfolio in the retail/property sector. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and market expertise to identify opportunities and drive business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure properties stay fully occupied and profitable through financial oversight.
  • Analyze finances to support lease decisions and grow property value (gross asset value) and improve income.
  • Monitor budgets, profits, costs, and operating margins.
  • Identify growth opportunities through market research, site analysis, and demographic studies.
  • Lead due diligence for buying and selling properties.
  • Manage leasing for new developments and ensure a strong tenant mix.
  • Negotiate large retail leases, including renewals and new agreements with anchor tenants.

Requirements

  • Degree in Property Studies (BSc.)
  • 5–7 years’ experience in retail/property.
  • Strong experience in team leadership, leasing, negotiations, budgeting, and project management.
  • Advanced Excel/MS Office skills.
