Cape Town City Centre: Junior Technical Draughtsman

About the Role

Our client, a well-established metal manufacturing company based in Blackheath, Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Draughtsman to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of metal products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of technical drawings and specifications
  • Conduct research and gather information on materials and manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with senior draughtsmen and engineers to develop designs
  • Maintain accurate records and databases of product information
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes

Qualifications

  • Matric certificate (Grade 12)
