About the Role
Our Sunnydale-based client is seeking a Sales Consultant to convert accommodation enquiries into successful bookings while delivering a polished, professional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong people and communication skills, with a passion for hospitality, travel, and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and manage guest enquiries across multiple channels
- Prepare quotations and actively convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Match guest requirements to suitable properties with confidence and accuracy
- Negotiate rates, stay requirements, and alternatives where appropriate
- Prepare invoices, statements, lease agreements, and related booking documentation
- Review and sign off on key guest-facing communication and documentation
- Ensure all booking and property information within the booking system is accurate, complete, and up to date
- Work collaboratively with the broader team to continually improve systems, procedures, and service standards
- Participate in guest check-ins and check-outs from time to time
Requirements
- Qualification in Hospitality or Tourism
- Passion for hospitality, travel, and exceptional guest experiences
- Previous hospitality, villa rental, travel, or reservations experience advantageous
- Booking system experience advantageous
- Strong sales instinct and commercial awareness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and administrative accuracy
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
- A pro-active mindset with strong follow-through
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, polished, and solutions-oriented approach
- Team player willing to contribute positively and go the extra mile
- Strong emphasis on confidentiality
- Valid drivers license and own transport
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Salary & Benefits
The salary range is R15,000 – R20,000 per month, depending on experience. The remuneration structure includes a commission-based system on confirmed bookings, with a hybrid working arrangement by prior agreement (excluding probation period).
