About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our team at HotelJobs, where you will play a key role in monitoring and managing all food, beverage, and operational costs. As a detail-driven professional with a passion for cost management and hospitality excellence, you will help drive profitability and ensure budget targets are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control food, beverage, and operational costs
- Maintain accurate stock management systems
- Ensure procurement processes comply with company standards
- Verify supplier invoices and manage cost reporting
- Support department heads in achieving financial goals
Requirements
- SA Citizen
- Matric or Grade 12 qualification
- Formal hospitality diploma/degree (advantageous)
- At least 3 years relevant experience in a similar role within a 4/5-star hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage products and suppliers
- Experience with Micros (Product Management) System (essential)
Qualifications
Formal hospitality degree or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
