About the Role

The Junior Paralegal / Conveyancing Secretary role at Pillango Placements involves attending to the administration of property transfers, liaising with parties involved in transactions, and performing various tasks to ensure smooth conveyancing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing of instructions
  • Compiling accurate records of source of instructions
  • Reporting to clients
  • Reporting to agents
  • Arranging appointments
  • Drafting of documents
  • File management – foreseeing potential problems
  • Reporting to conveyancer & advising of problem areas
  • Arrangement of lodgement
  • Registration of matter
  • Financial administration of file – including investments, payments, receipts and balancing of funds.
  • FICA Compliance
  • Delivery of deeds
  • Reception duties

Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of Lexis Convey & AJS
  • Ability to attend to standard queries raised by both Seller and Purchasers
  • Deal competently with Agents queries
  • Sound accounting background
  • Good letter writing capability & drafting skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Effectively diarize and administer the various procedures
