About the Role

Our client, a leading player in the cold storage industry based in Montague Gardens, is urgently seeking a qualified Electrician to join their team. As an electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with electrical codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical projects.
  • Diagnose electrical malfunctions and perform troubleshooting to identify and fix issues.
  • Install, test, and maintain electrical panels, switchboards, and control systems.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems and recommend upgrades when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete construction, installation, and repair work efficiently.
  • Keep accurate records of all work completed, including maintenance logs and reports.
  • Adhere to company safety protocols.
  • Conduct safety inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
