About the Role

The purpose of the Centurion: Marketing Assistant role is to support the marketing team in various tasks and activities to help promote ICTEngage’s products and services. This will include market research, campaign coordination, content creation, social media management, data analysis, administrative support, branding and collateral, and event coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Experience Calls:
  • Call the client after an order has been completed and capture the data daily
  • Precompile testimonials and send to clients/send a Google review link daily
  • Send client experience call action points to relevant parties and follow up until they have been actioned daily
  • Send data and signed testimonials weekly
  • Reseller of the Month Testimonials:
  • Request and analyse data to determine reseller of the month and technical reseller of the month monthly
  • Request testimonials from the resellers of the month monthly
  • Marketing Meetings:
  • Schedule marketing meetings with agendas weekly
  • Compile and send marketing meeting action points weekly
  • Reseller and VPBX Newsletters:
  • Assist with compiling the newsletters monthly
  • Assist with sourcing and creating relevant content for newsletters monthly
  • Assist with designing and formatting newsletter layouts monthly
  • Social Media Content Development & Management:
  • Assist with planning and maintaining the company social media content calendar weekly
  • Create engaging social media content for platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms weekly
  • Assist with writing captions, marketing copy, and social media posts aligned with the company brand weekly
  • Design and edit basic marketing graphics, banners, and social media visuals when required
  • Assist with creating promotional videos, reels, and short-form content when required
  • Monitor social media platforms for engagement, comments, and messages, and escalate where necessary daily
  • Assist with scheduling and publishing social media posts daily
  • Research social media trends, competitor activity, and content ideas monthly
  • Assist with increasing brand awareness and online engagement through creative content initiatives ongoing
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather content, updates, and promotional material for marketing campaigns when required
  • Ensure all social media content aligns with company branding and communication standards ongoing
  • Assist with tracking and reporting on social media performance and engagement metrics monthly
  • General Duties:
  • Spot check content and artwork when required
  • Order pre-approved marketing collateral when required
  • Assist with coordinating events when required
  • Rebrand/compile documents when required
  • Monitor company email and action when required
  • Assist with compiling EXCO presentations when required
  • Review job advertisement content when required
  • Other marketing and communication duties when required
  • Monitor incoming leads daily

Requirements

  • Degree or experience in marketing (required)
  • Content creation experience (required)
  • Bulk email platform experience (required)
  • Graphic design platform experience (required)
  • Social media management and content creation experience (required)
  • Experience with social media scheduling platforms (preferable)
  • Basic video editing experience (preferable)
  • Customer call experience (preferable)
  • Very well spoken and written (required)
  • Project management (preferable)
  • Self-driven (required)
  • Able to work in a team and independently (required)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment (required)
  • Understanding of the ICT industry (preferable)
