About the Role

Innovazi Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Service Technician (Electrical) to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our service delivery team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic chemical dosing equipment, as well as providing technical support and training to clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, program, repair, and maintain electronic chemical dosing equipment
• Install soap dispensers and chemical dosing systems across laundry, kitchen, food processing, and housekeeping environments
• Service commercial laundry machines, dishwashers, glasswashers, and crate washers
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting on-site
• Conduct client training and ensure all training documentation (registers, certificates, etc.) is completed and submitted
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders
• Provide prompt and professional service support to customers
• Offer after-hours emergency support when required
• Assist with customer deliveries when necessary
• Complete detailed service reports for clients and management
• Submit weekly technical and call reports to the Sales Manager
• Follow scheduled installation and maintenance calendars
• Ensure accurate client information is maintained
• Assist with stock management and stock takes where required
• Maintain HSE standards on all client sites
• Ensure branding and merchandising standards are maintained
• Adhere to company communication and data policies
• Stay up to date with industry developments in chemicals, dosing systems, and cleaning technology
• Attend company training and continuously improve technical capability
• Learn customer operations to provide tailored technical solutions

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Electrical qualification / certification (essential)
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant electrical experience
• Experience in chemical dosing equipment installation (advantageous)
• Experience with laundry systems and/or industrial dish machines (advantageous)
• Ability to fault-find, repair, and maintain electrical/mechanical systems
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with MS Teams / Zoom or similar platforms
