Job Description
Hire Resolve is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Engineering Foreman to join our client’s coal mining operations. As the Engineering Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing a team of engineers and technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance within the mining electrical reticulation network and supporting electrical systems
- Ensure optimal TMM utilisation & availability
- Ensure compliance to Safety and Quality policies, procedures, and standards
- Shift line-up and hand-over
- Technical supervision
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for mining equipment and machinery
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Manage and oversee the work of engineering staff and contractors
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team
