About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Holistic Healer to join our team at a healing retreat in Franschhoek. As a key member of our wellness team, you will provide holistic wellness services to guests, focusing on personalized client care and creating a tranquil environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and tailor services for a personalized experience
- Perform various therapies according to set standards
- Prepare treatment rooms, maintain pristine cleanliness, and adhere to health/safety regulations
- Create a calm, welcoming atmosphere and manage appointment schedules efficiently
- Offer product recommendations and understand spa products to effectively advise clients
- Work with other staff to offer holistic wellness and contribute to the spa’s overall service
Requirements
- Recognized Spa or Beauty Therapy Qualification
- Previous experience in a luxury hospitality spa environment
- Knowledge of a range of wellness disciplines, including somatic therapies, complementary medicine, Reiki, Pilates, yoga, and other therapies
- Keen interest in health & wellness
- Knowledge of products and protocols
- Strong understanding of hygiene and safety procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills in a high-end setting
- Familiarity with in-room spa equipment and guest amenities
