About the Role
As an Industrial Engineer at Primeserv Denverdraft, you will play a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving strategic growth in our manufacturing operations. Your expertise in process improvement, project management, and lean culture will be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes that drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish standard times for production processes.
- Design strategic layouts to promote plant-wide efficiency.
- Participate in various capital expenditure projects through the year.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in production.
- Provide necessary equipment to enhance production efficiency.
- Analyse workflows to understand systems and processes using Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping.
- Assess and modify production layouts to improve efficiency.
- Optimize work distribution and streamline operations.
- Collaborate with management to ensure compliance and inform strategic decisions.
- Conduct time studies to reduce various in operations.
- Perform audits to identify and eliminate non-conformances.
- Monitor and preserve assets to support innovation and asset lifecycle tracking.
- Promote and embed lean culture in the work environment.
- Conduct SMED to standardise and improve setup processes.
- Deliver training based on improvement findings from management.
- Comply with and enforce all the Client’s policies and procedures.
- Carry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time.
Requirements
Computer literacy on MS Office with SAP (advantageous).
Strong project management skills.
Time management.
Proficiency in utilizing manufacturing process improvement tools such as Value Stream Mapping.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering.
Greenbelt Certificate (advantageous).
