About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Administrator with a strong background in the chemical industry to join our team at Staff Solutions. As a key member of our sales support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless order fulfillment processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct liaison between the sales force, customers, and company via email, telephonically, etc.
- Supply chain management to fill all internal and external customer orders timeously and accurately.
- Receiving, processing, and distribution of all customer orders.
- Handling of customer queries and managing incoming calls from suppliers and customers.
- Identifying back orders or no stock items and communicating with the client and sales force as to status.
- Closing off back orders and ensuring stock is received/dispatched according to customers’ requirements within the specified time frame.
- Fielding and following up on order and delivery queries.
- Processing and submitting proforma and/or urgent quotations within the specified time frame.
- Processing FOL (Free on Loan) orders and ensuring the relevant agreements are completed.
- Providing regular communication to update sales forces on logistics and issues regarding customer requirements.
- Providing regular feedback to clients and sales force regarding order fulfilment status.
- Assuring all complaints are recorded properly and are closed out upon resolution with the customer.
- Maintaining a delivery note register for all manual orders.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (Maths will be advantageous)
- Minimum of 2 years’ warehouse-related experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales support or sales administrative role, ideally within the chemical industry
- Chemical-related experience is advantageous
