About the Role
The Assistant Regional Financial Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Finance Executive and Regional Financial Manager in designing and implementing business models that align with the company’s strategy. This position requires strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and leadership abilities to drive value creation and preservation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations across assigned dealerships, ensuring timely and accurate management accounts and financial reporting.
- Review dealership performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
- Consolidate regional financial performance for presentation to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies, statutory regulations, and internal controls.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for each dealership and the region as a whole.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic planning and business decision-making.
- Monitor performance against budget, investigating variances and recommending corrective action.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in dealership finance management (57 years preferred).
- CA(SA), CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- Strong commercial awareness and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in dealership management systems (e.g., Kerridge/CDK or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills.
