About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven New Car Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Johannesburg’s Southern Suburbs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving high sales targets and driving dealership performance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate the new vehicle sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
- Drive dealership sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure achievement of minimum sales targets, including maintaining a current achievement level of at least 30 units per month
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing initiatives
- Monitor daily sales activities, lead management, and conversion ratios
- Manage stock, ageing units, and vehicle ordering processes effectively
- Ensure compliance with OEM standards, dealership policies, and operational procedures
- Conduct regular sales meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, financial institutions, and key stakeholders
- Assist with deal structuring and ensure maximum profitability on all transactions
- Maintain high levels of showroom presentation and customer experience standards
Requirements
- Minimum 35 years of experience as a New Vehicle Sales Manager within a franchised passenger vehicle dealership
- Proven and current track record of achieving at least 30 vehicle units per month
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing abilities
- Strong understanding of dealership operations, F&I processes, and vehicle sales procedures
