About the Role
Our client operating in the Commercial Vehicle and Trucking Industry is currently looking to employ an experienced Sales Executive to join their team based in Isando. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving vehicle sales, building strong customer relationships, and managing the full sales process from prospecting to vehicle delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute sales activities for allocated strategic accounts.
- Provide customers with a reliable point of contact throughout the sales process.
- Apply the retail pricing framework to ensure profitable deals.
- Achieve or exceed annual targets including unit sales, market share, and gross profit.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 or higher qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience within the trucking or commercial vehicle industry
- Valid drivers licence (Code 14 advantageous)
- Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act
- Proven ability to cold call and generate new business opportunities
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong administrative and documentation abilities
- High attention to detail
- Proactive and confident approach to sales
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
