The Opportunity
Our client, a rapidly growing organisation within the freight and logistics industry, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Freight Sales Executive to join their Johannesburg team.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the freight and logistics sector.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
- Sell and promote comprehensive freight solutions across air, sea, and road freight services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across various industries and commodities.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development through to onboarding and account management.
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Develop tailored logistics solutions that meet customer requirements and deliver value.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure service delivery excellence.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in freight forwarding and logistics sales.
- Strong understanding of air freight, sea freight, and road freight services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international and domestic trade lanes.
- Demonstrated success in business development and revenue generation within the freight industry.
- Existing client relationships and an active business pipeline will be highly advantageous.
- Ability to generate new business independently and consistently.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and solution-selling ability.
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
