About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple fire sprinkler installation projects across various industries in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale fire sprinkler installation projects, strong technical knowledge, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple fire sprinkler installation projects across commercial, industrial, retail, warehousing, and high-risk facilities.
- Oversee all phases of projects including planning, procurement, installation, commissioning, and final handover.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to approved specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Attend project meetings, technical meetings, and site progress reviews.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Manage project variations, claims, and contractual matters effectively.
- Lead and supervise project managers, site supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, and installation teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project staff.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between all departments.
- Monitor team performance and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or similar.
- Minimum 810 years experience within the fire sprinkler or fire protection industry.
- Proven experience managing large-scale fire sprinkler installation projects.
- Strong understanding of sprinkler systems, pumps, tanks, hydrants, hose reels, and fire suppression systems.

Preferred Requirements
- SAQCC registration advantageous.
