Job Description
Our client, a well-established organisation operating within the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking to employ 6 experienced warehouse assistants. This role is based in Isando, Johannesburg.
There are 6 positions available.
Requirements:
- Grade 12/ Matric (essential)
- Minimum 5 years warehouse experience in automotive or parts environment preferred.
- Valid forklift licence (advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication
- Proactive, disciplined, and results driven
- Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Team player
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming parts against packing lists and business systems purchase orders.
- Conduct Data Dotting and ensure full traceability of all serialized parts.
- Accurately bin, pick and pack stock according to system and dispatch requirements.
- Complete Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) within 24 hours of receipt.
- Support cycle counts, stock takes, and variance investigations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in line with 5S and Health and Safety standards.
- Operate forklifts (if licensed) and assist with loading unloading vehicles.
- Accurately capture and process all transactions in system.
- Branch dealer and supplier collections and deliveries.
- Parts standby during the week, weekends and on public holiday
