The South African Sugar Association (SASA) has a one-year contract vacancy for a Senior Systems Developer. This is a hybrid role based at Mount Edgecombe, KwaZulu-Natal Division: Autolab, South African Sugar Association Autolab, a division of the South African Sugar Association, is seeking a Senior Web Developer to join their dynamic development team based in Mount Edgecombe, KZN. The team builds and maintains enterprise-grade software solutions for sugar industry customers across multiple locations As part of a small, highly skilled team, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting web-based applications using modern technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Core (MVC), Angular, Oracle, SQL and Microsoft Azure. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated developer who thrives in a technically challenging environment and enjoys working closely with end-users to deliver impactful solutions Duties and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core (MVC), Angular, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure Provide support for applications and databases (Oracle and SQL) Participate in code reviews, testing and deployment processes Work within an Agile development environment Minimum Requirements: Education: Object-Oriented Design and Database Design XML Schema and web services MVC design patterns and best practices Experience with Agile methodologies Valid, endorsement-free Code 08 driver’s license Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems Experience: C# and ASP.NET Core (MVC architecture) Angular, HTML, CSS, TypeScript SQL-based databases (preferably SQL) Microsoft Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure SQL, DevOps, etc.) Git for version control What we have to offer: A collaborative, technically strong team environment Opportunities to work on meaningful, real-world systems Exposure to modern cloud technologies and enterprise software Competitive salary A stable, well-established organization with a national footprint
