About the Role
The Administrator MTS position at IvanPlats (Pty) Ltd is a critical role in supporting the development of our world-class platinum-palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to join our team, utilizing their administrative skills to ensure the smooth operation of our Mine Technical Services department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the MTS department on a daily basis with administrative functions, such as diary and calendar management, taking notes in meetings and following up on actions.
- Draft all MTS documents under the direction of the MTS Manager for the implementation of the MTS management system.
- Manage the electronic MTS management system.
- Schedule and attend all internal and external MTS audits; have tracking system for all non-conformances raised to ensure closure.
- Analyse all incidents trends to and liaise with all HODs to create pro-active action plans, which will ensure no repeat incidents.
- Co-ordinate and prepare presentations for the MTS Manager.
- Schedule legal reports for the legislature.
- Attend MTS meetings i.e Planning, G-Sheets and MTS HOD and take minutes.
- Create a filing system for departmental documentations.
- Take responsibility for Ivanplats MTS document control function.
- Assist and expedite Procurement activities within the MTS department.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, build sound relationships and ensure good communications.
- Ensure timeous resolution of queries and complaints and take ownership of issues.
- Support skills development within the department.
- Participate in creating toolkits and training materials that will assist with building a steady skills pipeline.
- Identify and participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.
- Ensure knowledge transfer amongst peers.
- Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity
- Ensure a Zero Harm in the workplace by following the HSE plan for the Business area and taking remedial actions where necessary.
Requirements
- Grade 12 Tertiary qualification in Administration or any relevant Tertiary qualification
- Qualification or courses in Mineral Resource Management will be advantageous
- Drivers License advantageous
