Seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with proven experience in earthmoving equipment. Responsibilities include the inspection, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of heavy earthmoving machinery, including excavators, loaders, graders, dozers, articulated dump trucks, and related equipment. The successful candidate will perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical repairs, conduct preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance to support continuous operations and compliance with company and industry standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Proven ability to diagnose, service, repair, and test heavy commercial vehicles, earthmoving equipment, and diesel-powered machinery. Skilled in overhauling engines, transmissions, differentials, final drives, hydraulic systems, steering, braking, suspension, pneumatic, and electronic components. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical schematics, workshop manuals, and parts catalogues. Sound knowledge of oils, lubricants, and preventative maintenance practices for heavy equipment.
