About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Agile Master to lead and coach high-performing teams in delivering predictable, on-time results across multiple feature teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile and scaled frameworks, excellent leadership and facilitation skills, and the ability to drive change management initiatives at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full accountability for team delivery, performance, and quality outcomes
- Drive predictable, on-time delivery across multiple feature teams
- Proactively identify and resolve impediments at team and organisational level
- Guide teams and leadership on the practical application of Agile and Scrum principles
- Assess agile maturity of teams and the organisation and coach them to higher levels at a sustainable pace
- Drive team morale, culture, and psychological safety
- Provide active coaching and support to team members and mentor other Agile Masters
- Support complex products and sub-products up to domain level
- Contribute actively to Communities of Practice (CoPs) through leadership and knowledge sharing
- Lead change management initiatives, ensuring adoption of new ways of working
- Partner closely with Product Owners on backlog management, grooming, and product planning
- Coordinate and facilitate all agile ceremonies, workshops, and key meetings
- Structure sessions to enable effective discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution
- Collaborate across multiple sites and locations
Requirements
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing DevOps or Agile teams
- Deep experience with Agile and scaled frameworks (e.g. SAFe, Nexus, LeSS)
- Strong command of Agile metrics and tooling (JIRA, Confluence, burndown, velocity, flow metrics)
- Excellent emotional intelligence, leadership, and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated capability in conflict resolution, empowerment, and continuous improvement
- Ability to understand technical topics sufficiently to influence developers and steer technical discussions
Qualifications
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business
- One of the following (mandatory):
- Professional Scrum Master III Certified Scrum Professional Scrum Master® Certified SAFe® Program Consultant Certified SAFe® Agilist Scaled Professional Scrum Certified SAFe® Release Train Engineer
- Project Management qualification (advantageous)
