About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAIPA accredited Graduate Accountant with completed Articles to join our team in Menlo Park. The ideal candidate will have advanced CaseWare experience, tax software, MS Office, accounting programs, and e-Filing skills. As a key member of our team, you will work under the guidance of experienced Chartered Accountants/SAIPA Professional Accountants/Registered Auditors, participating in all aspects of rendering services to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns
- Conduct audits and assurance engagements in compliance with auditing standards
- Participate in client meetings and liaise with clients on financial matters
- Develop a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and auditing procedures
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality services to clients
Requirements
- SAIPA accredited B.Com or at an advanced stage of completion
- Advanced CaseWare experience
- Tax software skills
- MS Office proficiency
- Accounting programs expertise
- e-Filing experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Formal education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized institution
- SAIPA accreditation
- Completed Articles at a small firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors (preference given)
