About the Role
Top Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Internal Salesperson to join their team in Milnerton. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, promote products effectively, and contribute to a positive sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide an efficient and effective service to all customers entering the shop.
- Inform customers about the Frequent Purchaser Programme (Cash back).
- Refer or escort customers to the showroom upstairs.
- Provide the customer with required application and technical information regarding colour, grade, price, stock availability, and use of tiling-related products.
- Use sales and marketing techniques to influence customers to purchase products and buy up.
- Make out an order and advise customers of process (payment to cashier, arranging delivery, despatch, etc.).
- Follow-up with customers who required samples or measurements.
- Ensure the Sales Representative area is neat and clean at all times to create the correct impression.
- Be attentive to when customers need assistance or are just browsing.
- Ensure personal appearance is immaculate at all times to project a positive sales and company image.
- Assist in bi-annual stock taking.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- 3-5 years proven sales experience in a similar or related retail industry
- Tile product knowledge (preferable but not essential)
- Computer Skills (essential)
