About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team in Mosselbaai, George. As a key member of our payroll function, you will be responsible for managing and reviewing all payroll activities and monthly deadlines, ensuring compliance with SARS and Department of Labour requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review all payroll activities and monthly deadlines
• Process payroll for selected clients
• Ensure compliance with SARS and Department of Labour requirements
• Oversee and review EMP201, IRP5 (interim & annual), EasyFile, UIF, and COIDA submissions
• Manage statutory registrations and ongoing compliance requirements
• Handle payroll-related queries and client communication
• Provide leadership and support to the payroll function

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Payroll, HR, Finance, or similar
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a payroll position (multi-client environment)
• Must be able to process multiple companies’ payrolls
• Must be strong in administration
• Fully computer literate and proficient in payroll systems (Sage Payroll etc)
• Solid understanding of South African payroll legislation and compliance
