About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant/ Factory Electrical Engineer to join our client, GCC Factories, in Mthatha, Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical engineering and project management on-site at the factory. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work with a reputable company and contribute to the success of their operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform standby duties on the plant
- Set test procedures by:
- Recommending set limits and specifications for all electrical equipment
- Using simple and specialized test methods
- Obtaining standard test methods from suppliers
- Conducting periodic checks
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically related to factories
- Good knowledge of:
- Hydraulics
- Ventilation
- Pneumatic systems
- Dust handling
- Fluid systems
- Press and material handling systems
- Materials
