About the Role

The Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is seeking an experienced Safety, Health, Risk, Environment & Quality (SHREQ) Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Nelspruit. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with mining regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SHREQ management systems and policies
• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with MHSA, environmental, and risk management requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks
• Provide training and guidance on SHREQ procedures and protocols

Requirements

• Degree or National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Mining Engineering or related field
• COMSOC 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
• Minimum 8 to 10 years mining SHREQ experience
• At least 5 years in a management capacity within SHREQ
• Proven experience in MHSA compliance, environmental compliance and risk management
