Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support tender & concept development, product development, and customer orders Administer fabric & trim procurement, sampling, approvals, and laboratory testing Maintain critical path & system management, including updates on internal systems Assist in fabric development, sourcing, and supplier coordination Track timelines, shipments, and documentation to ensure smooth delivery KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) On-time completion of critical path milestones Timely submission and approval of lab dips, strike-offs, trims, and samples Accuracy of system updates and documentation Sample and approval turnaround times On-time fabric shipments and seal submissions Effective communication with internal departments and external suppliers QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent Previous experience in clothing, textile, sourcing, or merchandising environment advantageous Understanding of garment manufacturing, fabric sourcing, and product development processes beneficial SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Strong organizational and administrative skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously Strong communication and follow-up skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Outlook Ability to work collaboratively across departments Problem-solving and proactive decision-making skills
