Job Description

A well-established motor dealer group is looking for a motivated Junior Social Media & Marketing Assistant to support dealership sales teams by creating engaging vehicle content for online marketing platforms and social media channels.
This is an entry-level role with training provided, including exposure to programs such as Photoshop and other digital marketing tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take photos and videos of vehicles for online marketing and promotions
  • Assist with creating content for Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms
  • Upload and manage vehicle listings on online motor sales platforms
  • Support dealership sales teams with promotional marketing activities
  • Attend promotional events, activations, and dealership functions, including occasional weekend work
  • Assist with basic editing of images and video content
  • Help maintain a consistent and engaging online presence for the dealerships
  • Stay up to date with social media trends and content ideas
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to promote stock effectively

Requirements

  • Matric essential
  • Passion for social media, digital marketing, or content creation
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Interest in the motor industry and vehicle sales
  • Comfortable attending events and working occasional weekends
  • Own transport advantageous
  • No formal marketing qualification required

Remuneration
