Job Description
- Monitor production flow, identify operational bottlenecks, and optimise resources to ensure targets and deadlines are achieved.
- Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, driving accountability and performance across the operation.
- Analyse production and operational data, including efficiencies, output, forecasting, and workflow metrics using ERP systems and Excel.
- Oversee production planning, dispatch coordination, and volume forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, audit requirements, and operational standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimisation projects, and operational problem-solving.
- Work closely with senior leadership on operational strategy, efficiencies, and long-term succession planning.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification essential.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production management principles.
- Knowledge of the OHS Act, Labour Relations Act, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Proven leadership ability in a high-pressure operational environment.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, production, FMCG, textiles, processing, or a related industrial environment.
