About the Role
Our client, who owns and manages a substantial portfolio of properties in Port Elizabeth, is seeking to appoint an experienced Building and Maintenance Supervisor to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in building maintenance, construction, or facilities management.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management, maintenance, and upgrading of all the facilities, property, and infrastructure.
- Compile annual Maintenance Plan.
- Manage a team of people, including contractors.
- Plan and monitor budgets.
- Health and Safety.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous!
- 5+ Years experience in Building / Maintenance / Construction / Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.
- Valid drivers license.
- Experience in managing a team, and knowledge of the relevant HR policies and procedures.
- Knowledgeable of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Excellent financial acumen, with the ability to plan and monitor budgets.
- Computer Literate.
