About the Role
As a Home Loan Specialist at H&S Labour Brokers cc, you will be responsible for generating and sourcing leads, identifying client needs, matching products to needs, guiding clients through final approval and closing, maintaining ongoing client contact and follow-up, and application and file management. You will work closely with our team to build strong relationships with potential clients and provide tailored home loan options.
Key Responsibilities
- Use both proactive and reactive methods to identify potential clients.
- Build and maintain a strong network through partnerships and ongoing relationship management.
- Run targeted outreach campaigns: referrals, outdoor and community activations, mall kiosks, social media, corporate presentations, and wellness days.
- Identify Client Needs:
- Use open-ended questioning to uncover financial situations and emotional drivers.
- Pre-qualify clients by reviewing their background, credit health, and affordability.
- Pinpoint financial challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
- Keep accurate records of all leads and follow-up activities.
- Match Products to Needs:
- Apply deep product knowledge to present tailored home loan options.
- Explain application steps and apply relevant credit criteria.
- Clearly address any potential issues upfront and ensure required documentation is collected.
- Guide Clients Through Final Approval & Closing:
- Clearly explain all terms and conditions of the final offer.
- Summarize key benefits of the chosen product package and any relevant conditions.
- Maintain Ongoing Client Contact & Follow-Up:
- Keep clients updated throughout the process.
- Provide clear, straightforward answers to client questions.
- Stay in touch after acceptance to ensure satisfaction and request referrals.
- Application & File Management:
- Complete applications accurately based on what the client needs and qualifies for.
- Organize supporting documents and ensure each file is complete and ready for processing.
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- 2–3 years of experience in business development or lead generation
- Sales experience (finance, insurance, etc.)
- Proven ability to generate leads and build referral networks
- Clear credit record
