About the Role
Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Rustenburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects on UG mechanised mines, with a focus on ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects on UG mechanised mines
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with regulations
- Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering / Mining Engineering
- Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competence or Government Certificate of Competence (Mines and Works)
- Minimum 10 years Project Management experience on UG mechanised mines
- At least 5 years experience at managerial level
- Certificate or Diploma in Project Management (advantageous)
- Management Development Programme or equivalent (advantageous)
- Computer Literacy in MS Office suite at an advanced level
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering / Mining Engineering, Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competence or Government Certificate of Competence (Mines and Works)
