Pretoria: Oracle ERP Functional Specialist

Job Description

Requirements 8 to 10 years experience within an Oracle Financials application support or project environment. Strong experience in Oracle ERP functional support, configuration, enhancements and maintenance of ERP solutions. Cloud-based ERP technology and implementation experience. Business transformation and process optimisation experience. Strong business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation and documentation. Experience with realisation, testing practices and user acceptance testing. ERP domain management knowledge, including SQL. Strong accounting aptitude with the ability to detect financial and transactional errors. Good understanding of the financial services industry or other regulated environments. Duties and Responsibilities Lead the provision of functional support across allocated Oracle ERP modules, with a focus on business analysis, testing, configuration, process optimisation and user support. Support and enhance Oracle Financials and transactional ERP modules to ensure system stability, accuracy and alignment with business requirements. Drive ERP business analysis initiatives and lead ERP Business Analysts or cross-functional teams on complex projects within the ERP domain. Partner with business owners to define requirements, identify improvement opportunities and propose practical ERP solutions. Manage stakeholder engagement and act as the interface between business users, clients and ERP support teams. Support the development of ERP-related business architecture, reference models, frameworks and implementation roadmaps. Provide input into related ERP support disciplines, including systems development, project management and change management. Quality assure business analysis outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with business needs. Apply industry best practice to re-engineer effective and efficient business processes. Plan, coordinate and support user acceptance testing for enhancements, changes and new implementations. Configure system processes to support continuous improvement and specialised functional requirements. Develop training manuals, training plans and user guidance material. Deliver training to support system changes, new implementations and user adoption. Identify, register and manage risks within allocated ERP functional streams. Lead the full analysis and solution lifecycle, from problem identification and requirements definition through to implementation, training and adoption.
