A leading hospitality company is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager with strong experience in restaurant operations, team leadership, and customer service management to join their team in Pretoria. The business operates a popular eatery known for its vibrant atmosphere, artisanal baked goods, specialty coffee, and a diverse menu ranging from breakfast and baked items to hearty meals and desserts. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing daily restaurant operations, maintaining service excellence, and ensuring guests receive a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
This role is suited to a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands how to balance operational efficiency with delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant

Lead, manage, and motivate front-of-house and operational staff

Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction

Engage confidently with guests and handle queries or concerns professionally

Manage stock control and inventory processes

Monitor costs and maintain strong operational controls

Ensure smooth service delivery in a busy restaurant environment

Requirements:

South African ID
-
Grade 12 (Matric)

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a busy restaurant or eatery environment

Strong customer service and guest engagement skills

Strong leadership ability with experience managing and motivating teams

Solid stock control experience and understanding of cost management

Strong organisational and operational management skills
