Job Description
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- 1–2 years’ experience in loading, dispatch, warehouse or cold store operations, preferably in meat, food or FMCG.
- Previous experience in a team leader or senior loader role will be an advantage.
- Basic computer literacy (ability to work with picking lists, invoices and simple spreadsheets).
- Experience working in a cold chain / refrigerated environment will be an advantage.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- Physically fit and able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as operationally required.
Skills and competencies
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in picking, checking and loading.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to give clear instructions and work well with loaders, drivers and internal departments.
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility for safety, hygiene and quality standards in the loading and dispatch areas.
- Reliable, disciplined and able to follow standard operating procedures consistently.
