About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper & Admin Assistant to join our luxury co-working office in Cape Town CBD. This dynamic role supports both the Finance Manager and Director across multiple entities, blending financial expertise with strong administrative coordination. Key Responsibilities

  • Full bookkeeping function and monthly reporting on Xero
  • Processing payments, reconciling invoices and bank feeds
  • Managing journals, receipts, deposits, refunds, and intercompany transactions
  • Preparing weekly payables and receivables for review
  • Handling statutory correspondence and assisting with audits
  • Managing property-related expenses
  • Maintaining asset registers and overseeing insurance across the group
  • Calendar and meeting coordination
  • Professional email and document management
  • Handling logistics, couriers, and general office admin
  • Supporting with renewals, medical aid, and leave tracking
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date databases

Requirements

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a bookkeeping/finance role

* Strong working knowledge of Xero (non-negotiable)

* Solid Excel skills

* Understanding of SA tax, VAT, and SARS e-filing

* Experience with multi-entity bookkeeping and intercompany accounts

* Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals

* Valid driver’s licence, clear credit record, and contactable references
