About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Groups & Incentives Travel Designer to join our team at HotelJobs in Johannesburg (hybrid working offered). As a luxury inbound DMC, we specialize in curating extraordinary group journeys across Southern and East Africa, with a strong focus on conservation and MICE. The ideal candidate will be passionate about designing exceptional group experiences, managing complex logistics, and delivering seamless bespoke travel solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver bespoke group, incentive, and MICE itineraries tailored to client objectives, budgets, and guest profiles.
  • Translate client briefs into creative, well-structured programs showcasing camps, experiences, and conservation initiatives.
  • Identify and implement value-adds and upselling opportunities that enhance group experiences while protecting margins.
  • Provide prompt, professional, and solutions-driven service to trade partners, incentive houses, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage complex group logistics including rooming lists, movements, activities, and special requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed booking files to ensure seamless delivery from confirmation through travel.

Requirements

  • Matric Tertiary qualification in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
  • At least 610 years experience in a senior Groups, Incentives, or MICE travel design/reservations role
  • Proven experience managing group logistics, complex itineraries, and high-value clients
  • Strong working knowledge of Tourplan and Microsoft Office
